Painted Pianos
In 2013 I was one of the artists selected to paint a piano as part of the Play Me, I’m Yours installation in Boston. My piano, Autumnal Splendor, was installed in the North End for passersby to play and enjoy. Three years later, I was invited back to paint two more outdoor pianos, one in Newton (Spring Splendor) and another in Boston. Already having experienced how fun it is to paint an outdoor piano, I opted to share my opportunity with two girls from the Divas mentoring divas program in Dorchester. Shout out to DeShawna and Leilani for bring Diva Z to life!
