Community Tiles, 2007

In 2007 I led a community building workshop at HBI inviting people to choose one of seven designated themes and paint a tile as a part of a collaborative installation. 52 tiles (representing 52 weeks of the year) were created to celebrate the art featured in a new calendar. The seven themes included: Diversity/Ethnicity, Land Preservation, Holocaust Commemoration, Zionism, Feminism, Jewish law and secular law, and Globalization
