In the Summer/Fall of 2013, Tova was selected as one of 75 artists in the Boston area to design and paint a piano as part of the Celebrity Series "Play Me, I'm Yours" Street Pianos Festival. Itself a piece of "found wood" as it was donated by a local organization for the installation, the piano is first brought to life with the autumn colors highlighting the natural grain pattern of the wood, and again enlivened as passersby play the piano once it is installed outdoors for the community to enjoy. The piano was on display on the Rose Kennedy Greenway at North End Park on Hanover Street between September 27 - October 14, 2013 and will soon be donated to a community organization. View pictures of the piano painting in progress as well as pictures of the piano being enjoyed in it's lovely outdoor home.
